Quotes from the seventh qualifying session of the 2025 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship season.
Chris Smiley: “That’s qualifying done and dusted here at Knockhill. In FP1 and FP2 we had a few issues with the handling of the car, and in qualifying, I just lacked a little bit in the first sector. I was hoping to sneak into the top six, but P9 is still a strong place to start. It puts us in a great position for tomorrow and I’m really looking forward to all three races.”

Dan Lloyd: “Just finished qualifying here at Knockhill, and it’s a bit disappointing after being P3 in FP2. The car felt a little loose at the start of qualifying and I just couldn’t quite hook the lap together. I did five laps all within a tenth of a second, but we needed half a tenth more to get into Q2 and didn’t quite manage it. So we’ve ended up P13, which is frustrating after showing such strong pace earlier in the day. Still, the pace is there, so we’ll regroup, give it our all tomorrow, and aim to move forward in the races.”
